Description: You really need to know the song you want to learn on your internal jukebox before you even think about going to the piano to learn it. In this video, I apply that fact and learn, by ear, I Can't Get Started (With You). A lovely song which follows all the trademark jazz theory: 6251, moving in 4ths, a floating 251 (onto the second in this instance)... It's a quick demo to highlight what is expected of you too when you want to learn your own jazzy repertoire. Knowing the lyrics really helps with structure too. Now that I know it, I won't forget it because the progression is so standard.
